Which data do we collect?
We collect, store, and use only those types of personal data necessary for us to be of service to you. Which personal data we process therefore depends on the nature of your question. Are your details incorrect or no longer up to date? Please let us know via email@example.com.
When you visit our website, we will give you a cookie :-). It is not edible, but it is a small text file that our web page server places on your hard drive to improve your experience on our website. Cookies make it easier for you to use our site and they remember your technical choices (such as the choice of language). By changing the settings of your browser, you can choose whether or not you wish to use a cookie.
Every two weeks we send out a newsletter with funny or lovely news items about Connect, interesting trends, and facts about the world of strategic communication. You will only receive this newsletter if you are subscribed (which you can do via our website or by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org). The identification data (namely your surname, first name and e-mail address) you provide us with will only be used to send you the newsletter. Do you no longer want to receive the newsletter? No problem, you can always unsubscribe by clicking Unsubscribe at the bottom of the newsletter or by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
When you respond to a vacancy on our website, you give us permission to process your personal data for the selection and recruitment procedure. We only process the data you share with us on your CV and motivation letter. Connect anticipates future recruitments by means of a recruitment reserve.
Do you use our services? Then, we will also treat your privacy with care. Within the framework of the agreement, we collect and process the identity and contact information of our customers and clients, their personnel, employees, and other useful contacts to the extent that it is necessary to successfully complete our assignment (customer management) and to be able to organize the associated administration (accounting). If you have given your permission, we will also send you our fortnightly newsletter or e-mail you interesting commercial offers.
Supplier and subcontractor
We collect and process the identity and contact details of our suppliers and subcontractors, as well as their (sub)contractor(s), contract staff, employees and other useful contacts. We do this in the context of the execution of an ongoing agreement or future collaborations, accounting and direct marketing activities such as sending promotional or commercial information. The legal grounds are the performance of the contract, the fulfilment of legal and regulatory obligations and/or our legitimate interest.
How long do we store the data?
We only store and process personal data for a period necessary for the purposes of the processing and for the (contractual or other) relationship we have with you.
Customer data and data from suppliers and subcontractors will in any case be deleted from our systems after a period of ten years after the termination of the agreement or project. This rule does not apply to personal data that specific legislation requires us to store for a longer period of time or in the event of an ongoing dispute for which the personal data are still necessary.
The personal data of job applicants will be stored by us for a maximum of two years after the application. As an applicant, you may become a part of a recruitment reserve if you were not immediately selected for the job. This means that we can contact you during the two years after the initial application procedure and still offer you a job at Connect.
What are your privacy rights?
In accordance with the Belgian privacy legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation, we inform you that you have several privacy rights. You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your privacy rights include:
