Security and quality campaign for multinational
Since 2014, Connect is in charge of the annual safety and quality campaign of a multinational in the logistics sector. The campaigns raise employees’ awareness of safety and quality standards in and around the production areas. The means of communications are written in 4 languages and used in Belgium, Russia, China, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
Safety and quality are not the sexiest values to integrate into the workplace. How do we convey the message and how do we ensure the employees’ behavioural change? The multinational’s prevention advisor sought an answer to that question. In the development of the means of communications, cultural differences, such as gestures and skin colour, between the branches also demanded extra attention.
Connect designed a series of posters and toolboxes in 4 languages. We chose designs with playful drawings, which clearly show the 12 messages (one for each month). In addition to the posters, the toolboxes provide more information about the theme of the month, supporting the daily briefings of the team leaders.
In terms of design as well as in terms of content, the campaign is Best in Class.

The original designs, which can be used for all countries, are distributed worldwide. Even employees who have difficulty reading can perfectly understand. For three years in a row, the prevention counsellor receives compliments from the US headquarters for the safety and quality campaigns.
